15 – 20 tomatillos
1 medium white onion, chopped
3 jalapenos
1 habanero
1 cascabel chili
1 arbol chili
8 garlic cloves
1/2 bunch chopped cilantro
1/2 tsp sugar
2 tsp salt
2 tsp cumin
1 tbs lime juice
1 cup chili water
Directions
- Rehydrate the cascabel and arbol chili’s in warm water for 15 minutes.
- After husking the tomatillos, roast the onion, garlic, jalapenos, and tomatillos until they begin to blister and char. about 5 minutes per side under the broiler.
- Combine everything into a blender and blend until you reach a desired consistency.
