Ingredients

  • 15 – 20 tomatillos

  • 1 medium white onion, chopped

  • 3 jalapenos

  • 1 habanero

  • 1 cascabel chili

  • 1 arbol chili

  • 8 garlic cloves

  • 1/2 bunch chopped cilantro

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp cumin

  • 1 tbs lime juice

  • 1 cup chili water

Directions

  • Rehydrate the cascabel and arbol chili’s in warm water for 15 minutes.
  • After husking the tomatillos, roast the onion, garlic, jalapenos, and tomatillos until they begin to blister and char. about 5 minutes per side under the broiler.
  • Combine everything into a blender and blend until you reach a desired consistency.
